A Little Bird Told Me…

Inspiring compassion, love, and generosity, this painting by Rose Henges features a sprawling, hand-lettered Emily Dickenson quote. Rose's original watercolor painting is reprinted in gorgeous detail, preserving the vivid colors and empowering message. Designed in Missouri. Printed and framed in Portland, Oregon.

Quote reads, "If I can stop one heart from breaking, I shall not live in vain; if I can ease one life the aching, or cool one pain, or help one fainting robin unto his nest again, I shall not live in vain."

Rose Henges is a watercolor artist based in Kansas City, MO where she stays at home with her little one and sells her creations online. She is most inspired by nature and the beauty that surrounds us on planet earth. Her creative process involves spending time outdoors and going on contemplative nature walks for inspiration. All of her paintings are done in one sitting, as she finds that breaking up the creative process hinders her work. Her hope for owners of her artwork is that they would draw inspiration, peace and even hope from the positive and inspirational messages that they portray.
