You've seen what your little one can draw with regular sidewalk chalk. But imagine what candy shop creativity might emerge if they could draw with a frosted donut. Pre-school teacher Kate Leibrand started making this sidewalk chalk for her mini pupils. She thought that if it brings so much joy to her class, why not share it with all little ones? Crafted in small batches, Kate "frosts" (paints) each donut with its own special glaze: a glittering pink, and yellow and blue zebra drizzle. Designed to fit in little hands, they make an adorable birthday gift for ages three and up. Use on sidewalks and pavement only. Handmade in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Due to the handmade nature of this item, each is unique and will vary.

An artist, maker, and Philadelphia preschool teacher, Kate Leibrand is the creative force behind TWEE - a company specializing in hand-made, small batch, sidewalk chalk. The name TWEE comes from her art school critiques. After repeatedly being told her work was too “twee” or “cute” Kate began to wonder - What was so wrong with that? Instead of changing her aesthetic, Kate decided to embrace it and TWEE was born! All TWEE products are hand-poured, painted and created with love. What started as a project in her kitchen has expanded into a small, woman owned and run business whose products are carried all over the country.

I am always looking for outdoor toys that spark my kids creativity. These are fun, good quality and the shapes are much cooler than normal boring pieces of chalk.

Oh my gosh, my kids LOVE this chalk! Not only is it beautiful, but it's so easy for little hands to hold onto. I bought some for them "just because", but they were such a hit, I'm planning on purchasing more to give as party favors for my daughter's birthday next month!
