Simple to use, exciting to anticipate!

Easy to set up and use, and we're excited to watch the magic happen. Nice design -- a spring applies pressure to the fermenting materials, and a simple water moat lets gasses out without letting bacteria in. We're looking forward to trying many of the recipes, but kim chi was first up!

I would buy this product again.

My husband was very excited to receive this gift. He is always on the lookout for Kimchi at Farmer's Markets and now he can make his own, which he did as soon as his gift arrived. Fermented for six days and he loves the taste. Pickles are next !

My husband used the kit immediately. It was easy to use and allowed use to create our own gourmet kraut. Looking forward to pickles and Kim Chee.

For the person that you never know what to get

5

My little brother is the hardest person to shop for. He works at a vegan taco shop and loves to experiment with new foods and creating his own masterpieces. This was perfect for him in that he finds so many uses for it, whether it's making his own pickles or coming up with a twist on Kimchee. I would recommend for any person with one or more of the following qualities: millennial ( because it takes minimal effort), vegans, stoners (mmm munching on fermented foodie bits), cooks and or foodies, hippies, hipsters, and anyone who likes sauerkraut, pickles, Kimchee, and other fermented products.

Almost useless

No recipes included. Difficult to download recipes. Gave up and bought book at local bookstore. Pain. Entire purchase rather frustrating.
