Cuckoo Clock Bookend

A clockwork classic is reimagined as an animated addition to your bookshelf.

Half Past a Tail Feather

A fixture of Victorian parlors and von Trapp family bedtimes, the cuckoo clock is a quaint classic. Now forget almost everything you know about it. Free from intricate carving and Bavarian embellishment, this modern take on the timepiece keeps the absurd little bird, but houses it in a cool abstraction of a hardcover book. It blends into your bookshelf until—cuckoo!—your library comes alive with a sweet tweet to mark the hour. Thankfully, the design includes a light sensor to curtail the cuckoo-ing during night hours. Made in Japan.
