Cube LED Alarm Clock

This clock is simply a small wooden cube...until you clap your hands.

$32.00

A Block of Time

Do you ever wish you could just clap your hands and a little more time would appear in your day? Well, here's the next best thing: clap your hands and time appears... on the surface of this extraordinary little clock.

The ultimate in minimalist design, the clock appears to be a simple, palm-sized cube with a pale, wood veneer finish. But the sound of a hand clap or a knock on the table triggers a red digital time display to shine through the front surface. It disappears again automatically after 8 seconds. The small size and neutral colors blend unobtrusively into any decor--but the clock also has an alarm function, for when you need the time to make its presence known. Runs on 2 AAA batteries (not included), operates simply with just four buttons, and includes detailed instructions. Made in China.

I was initially happy with the product. It functioned exactly as described but now, after about a month of use, it has ceased to function. when I clapped the display on last night, it displayed briefly and then it began to make a clicking noise that gradually decreased in frequency until the clock ceased to function at all. I removed the batteries but that did not help. The clock no longer works. This is too bad because it is so cool in every other way.

Not working well after only a week

1

Loved the cube to begin with but only after a week, when the display comes on the numbers vibrate. I thought maybe it was a battery issue but when I changed the batteries, the numbers still vibrate making it uncomfortable to look at it. There is nothing in the instructions to help fix it. I wish I could return it but I don't have the packaging any more.

Got this as a gift. Works well. Fits our contemporary/ Mid-century modern decor. Uses a lot of batteries power. Goes through 2 AAA batteries every 2 to 3 months. Never own any batteries clock that uses so much batteries until this one. Not environmentally friendly.

Perfect clock for a bedroom

4

This little clock was exactly what we needed in our bedroom. We don't like the light that comes off of clocks so this clock was perfect as it only turns on when you make noise. All you have to do is clap or snap. The only con is that we definitely expected it to be a more tan color like in the picture. It's very light, almost white.

Delites everyone who sees it!

Got it for my grandchildren to use in the guest room (8 yr old twins) they stay in when they visit. They can't wait to run in and check the time. It lights up with voices, a clap, a knock. Unique and fun to own.

Love This Cube Clock!

This clock is great. I've had it almost a month now. I am highly sensative to light, and so glad I don't have to block the clockface as I do with other clocks in by bedroom. It keeps time well, and was easy for me to set the alarm (perhaps the instructions improved since earlier reviews?). I don't believe there's a snooze funciton, but I'm fine with that. As some say, it can be sensitive to sound, as it lights up when I'm settling in and putting things on my nightstand. It's nice to just tap something nearby if I wake in the middle of the night and want to know what time it is without having to deal with constant light.

it works, but looks very fake

2

it was easy to set up and it works as far as clapping, which is fun. it's neat that it really looks like a plain block when the LED time isn't showing, but the block itself looks very cheap and fake. seems to be plastic with some wood looking grain and then painted whitish to maybe make it look like birch wood??? but disappointed in its looks. and the alarm definitely needs to be a louder volume. if this were made in better quality (maybe real wood) and with a louder alarm volume, it's a neat (novelty) product.
