Go from mealtime to playtime at the flip of a placemat with this colorful cloth chalkboard that gives young hands a fresh canvas for expressing their creativity. Designed by a mom with two rambunctious little boys, this portable placemat features a drawing surface with a sponge eraser and pocket for chalk, and rolls up into a tidy scroll small enough to fit in a purse.

The perfect platform for doodling, learning to write letters, passing messages or scribbling to-do lists. A colorful tie lets you bring fun on-the-go, while a protective cloth exterior entertains with a bright and cheery cowboy design. Ideal for turning any errand or restaurant meal with your little one into a junior adventure. Chalkboard mat comes with a 12-piece set of colored chalk and sponge eraser. Made in the USA of cotton, polyester and PVC.

      I bought this as a gift for a friend. But after I received it, I don't think I can give it out as a gift. The overall impression of the item is: "it looks cheap". It looks like it should sell inbetween $5 - $10, instead of [$]. The quality is similar to items you will purchase from a [@] store. Very disappointed.

                I got this for my nephew's fourth birthday. He loves it. It's made well,and it is a very original concept. When you go out to eat, the mat makes a great companion. He just sits there and draws away. You don't have to worry about misbehavior, whether they have drawing materials, or anything like that, just unroll it and let him go at it. Same thing in the car. It's a heck of a lot more productive then turning on the car's tv and a lot cheaper as well.

                The item arrived quickly, in good condition, and without an over-abundance of packaging. I didn't have to consult anyone in customer service, but have in the past, and they're always on it.
