This ergonomic ceramic bowl is specially designed by Thomas Both for maximum couch-eating comfort and convenience: It fits easily in your hand in various holding positions, and an indent in the base gives fingers extra grip and balance. The notch on the side provides a place for your thumb and also stabilizes your spoon, leaving the other hand free for the crucial remote control maneuvers. When settling in for some serious TV watching, always come prepared with the proper snacking equipment.
Responsible Business Practices
Alfareria Tradicional's mission is to preserve the manufacturing of handmade majolica pieces in the city of Guanajuato. In this way, they preserve a tradition that the city has had for many centuries.

paid time off
All receive vacation time (minimum six days if they have been working for a minimum of one year, and 15 days of Christmas holiday time off).
recycling primary/secondary materials
Water used to wash and prepare the clay is recycled. Pieces that did not pass quality control on the bisque before they are fired are recycled. Broken pieces from the bisque are recycled, and some are used to cover gardens or dirt roads.
Alfareria Tradicional does not have a charitable giving program, but meet all other Collection criteria.
Environmentally Friendly Materials
Ceramic, a natural source material
Corrugated boxes are made from recycled materials and recyclable. Recyclable bubble wrap is used to protect the pieces.
