I looked for an operating compass "piece" for years and now have it. Rarely take it off...it travels with me no matter where I go or what I am doing. Perfect!!!!!
Lovely, unique and beautifully crafted.
It's a small pendant necklace but it was exactly the right size for my petite 18 year old. The length of the chain was perfect for her, not too long and definitely not too short (18").

I bought this product back in 2011! The glass cracked and the compass was out of service. I wrote a mediocre review and Uncommon Goods was on top of it and wanted to make things right. I called them in 2016 to see if their offer was still good. Sure enough it was! I sent them the damaged goods and they replaced it.... FOR FREE!!! Well done Uncommon Goods, you made me become a return customer. Thanks! 👍🏼
This is a really nice piece of jewelry. A keepsake! I love it.
Beautiful necklace, great length, and nice chain!!! I bought this for myself as a reminder of a sermon I once heard to 'Stay on Course'.
Sometimes we lose our way and the compass necklace serves as a reminder of where we want to go.
I purchased this as a gift and the recipient loved it! Very stylish, yet unique and practical. Can be worn every day with almost anything.

Puchased for college graduation for a young lady who is pondering her future, she was touched by the unspoken meaning. Perfect! Great quality, small enough to tuck unoticed close to the heart, large enough to distinquish from a short distance. Great size.
I got mine years ago....I would like another, but the price is just way out of MY league..I agree with a previous poster that half the listed price would be more acceptable. I know they are hand crafted- and that it is a real piece of art- and that it contains sterling and metal prices(and everything else) is shooting up....but still.... I love mine though. I wear it everyday along with my saint Chris pendant(patron saint of travelors) its been all over the world (more than once) with me....beaches in Italy to Sanibel,fl,bathtubs in Ireland to pools in Nashville.,Stonehenge,Hadrian's wall,Loch ness, high in the Swiss Alps, its gone everywhere and always been near my heart...I love it.it took me a while to save for it the first time...but I'm so glad I did...I look at it everyday, sleep, work, eat, ect and I look down and can hold my travel memories. I like the back on mine anyway because its rounded and very smooth.the chain is no problem for me and I like that its a little longer.it doesn't bother me and when I wear my uniforms for work its easily hidden in my shirt so I don't have to worry about it being visible in uniform( and don't have to take it off)
