This was a birthday gift for my dear godmother. I wanted to give her something personal for her special day. And, since she has lived and worked in the Washington DC area since the 1970s, I thought this gift would be something fun and unique that she would enjoy and see on display in her home. Looking forward to visiting her soon and seeing it displayed in her home. She was so delighted when she received it!

Tremendous, quality, excellent service.
After a long year of health issue for my dad, this year at Christmas, we decided to catalog and organize his enormous book collection. This was the perfect gift to feature some of his favorites on a big bookshelf in the living room. He is from Chicago and I currently live in Chicago so the city is very important to us. The bookends stand out just like the Chicago skyline does. Great build quality and a perfect size and weight!

Nicely Done!
These were fabulous. I'll be honest, I was a little concerned they'd look like every other city skyline - they do not, you can definitely tell it's the San Francisco Skyline and they are heavy enough to do the job - I was also a little concerned they'd be flimsy and not truly able to hold the weight of books. They feel and look like black iron. Very well done, I'm quite pleased with my purchase.

Had planned to put on very top (ceiling proximity) shelf, but attractiveness of these bookends resulted in putting on a lower shelf for greater visibility...I had seen similar before, waited to order & then...poof...all gone! That's why I encourage purchase immediately if you are attracted to this....SF special memories for me, so having an outline of skyline perfect for retirement home with large bookshelf area!

Outstanding craftsmanship & meaning all rolled into on e
The bookends work great for my office space. They showcase what I want book wise while also providing the iconic Seattle skyline as a backdrop. I am a Navy vet and I was stationed near Seattle in my 20s on a submarine. Riding the ferry and seeing that skyline is a memory that is burned into my heart and means so much to me. The city brought adventure, great entertainment, wonderful food and unique experiences that were once in a lifetime. Now with this piece on my shelf, I am reminded of those great memories each day. These unique bookends tie in beautifully with the Seattle themed decor I have chosen and are a great addition.
