“Everything is better dipped in chocolate.”

Chocolate has evolved over the years, trending milk, trending dark, and then hovering somewhere in between. But it’s been Gayle Harte’s goal since 1979 to recreate the specific, magical taste of chocolate from her childhood. In 1984, she moved her business from her kitchen in Royal Oak, a suburb of Detroit, to a facility in their charming downtown district. You might say Gayle awakened a sleepy suburb, opening not just a fine chocolatier but the town’s very first espresso bar. She delights in sugaring up local Michigan patrons and beyond. "Everything is still made and packaged by hand,” she says. “The only thing that has changed since 1979 is that now I have 25 pairs of hands helping me."

I bought this bottle as a gift, But when I received it it was broken right in half :( which SUCKS but it is beautiful and it's chololate with chanpagne truffles so yes I will buy it again but I will keep my fingers crossed it doesn't come broken next time.

Such a great find with this dark chocolate champagne bottle w/chocolate truffles inside! What a hit. Delicious! My hubby and I LOVED it! Was originally planning on buying it for a birthday gift for someone else - but living in the Southwest, decided to get it earlier - and bought it for Valentine's Day instead.

Fantastic wedding celebration item!

Very unique design - unexpected. Individual truffles made it easy to limit intake. Even though it is made to order, it didn't take very long to get to the recipients - faster than predicted by the site. Only two possible downsides for us: it needs refrigeration if it isn't "devoured right away" and an odd number of truffles makes it a little harder to split evenly (but that only applies because this was a couple's gift).

The chocolate wine bottle is a replica of a split of champagne. It came extremely well packed and arrived without damage. Because it is a gift, I am unable to taste it at this point, but I know that it is going to be a welcome unique gift for my friends.
