Peter Cortez, Joe Sayaman, Matt Ferrin, and Penny De Los Santos are four friends who love food, spices, and experimentation. Their Chili Granola combines all three. Their mission is two-fold: first, to get even the least adventurous eaters to love spice by pairing it with the foods they already know and love; second, to help people understand that "spicy" is way more complex than simply "hot." They're super excited and thankful to all who want to take this spicy journey with them. They hand make each batch of their granola at Brooklyn Foodworks along with other innovative, supportive food-making folks.
