Unique and retro

By

Pros

  • Actual Blueprint Paper
  • Perfect Maine Coon Image
  • Typeface Is Just Right

Cons

  • lack of detail
  • No Actual Measurements

Best Uses

  • Mad Scientist's Lair
  • Vet's office

Comments about UncommonGoods Cat Blueprints:

The Maine Coon blueprint is a wonderful take on an actual blueprint, using the perfect typeface and the paper from old blueprints. The cream colour of the mat reminds one of office folders, making the print even more retro and industrial. And the drawing is truly is a Maine Coon!

Plus the architect is I.M. Paws, a clever reference to the architect I.M. Pei.

I would have liked to seen actual measurements used as part of the design. I think it would have added a bit to the realism.

But overall it's a great gift for both the cat lover and any mad scientists out there looking to build their own cat ;)

    Great Value

    Comments about UncommonGoods Cat Blueprints:

Very nice framing...you could pay this much just for the frame (minus the artwork).
Artwork is perfect. Doesn't have any "Cutesy" verbiage to deter from the engineering blueprint style.
I used this as a retirement gift for a senior engineer. It's a nod to an incident where a large ferral tom-cat fell through the drop ceiling in his office. Perfect! We personalized the matting (everyone signed it). I'm sure it will be a real conversation piece for his home office.
