Amish Accent

Artist Jay Goldsamt strives for imperfection. And this wonderful coffee table made from a reclaimed Amish buggy wheel is full of imperfections such as warps, cracks and nail holes, left untouched intentionally, to capture the charm, warmth and patina of the antique wood. Unique, handsome and a true conversation piece, this buggy wheel table made of white pine wood will be a stunning accent in any home.

Each piece is unique and will vary. Tongue and groove construction allows for expansion and contraction of top. Single screw to secure base. Tray top removable. Handmade by Mennonites in the USA.

Jay S. Goldsamt is the owner and head designer of Jay Sanders, Inc. He is a graduate of Columbia College in New York City. With 30 years experience designing case goods and upholstered furniture, Jay founded the Company in 1994. Jay twice has been awarded the Roscoe Award in furniture design. In addition, Jay Sanders' furniture has appeared numerous times in national media including Country Living and Country Home Magazines as well as the Lifetime TV network.

Jay strives to produce a superior furniture product that is classic in spirit and honest in finish. Each piece is crafted from "found" lumber up to 200 years old. Imperfections, such as warps, cracks, nail holes and worm holes have been left untouched intentionally, to capture the charm, warmth and patina of the antique wood.
