Nothing Like The Ad Information

Comments about UncommonGoods Blowfish Garden Stake:

The ad stated that this Blowfish, metal, garden stake is 16 inches in diameter with a 40 inch stake. Mine arrived today. The fish itself was about 16 inches in CIRCUMFERENCE, not diameter, and the stake was 24 inches long. It's very cute but definitely NOT worth what I paid for it. I went online and spoke to an agent via their Chat mode. She was very helpful and said she would send me a return label. Moral of the story is great customer service even if the purchased item was lacking.

Comments about UncommonGoods Blowfish Garden Stake:

I love Fred Conlon's work, and have several of his garden creatures. This blowfish did not disappoint. It's big and heavy and full of quirky character, just as shown. The only negative thing is that the (heavy) single stake should have a two-prong foot on the bottom to provide stability. I had to push the stake deep into our soft, sandy soil to keep the thing from tipping, which means the fish rides low.

I let these ornaments rust. You can spray them to keep them shiny, but unless you are very thorough and reapply often, you will eventually get rust spots. I prefer an overall rust coat to rust freckles.
