I have wanted this doormat for a few years, and I finally bought it. So far I have not regretted my purchase. I have had it for about a month now, so I can't speak to it's durability yet. It sits outside the door we use most often. It doesn't shed much, the lettering still looks good, and it works fine for wiping your shoes before entering the house. I have received many compliments on it from friends, family, and delivery people. I'm still waiting on my neighbor to come over to borrow an egg or something. She still hasn't seen it!

The mat is attractive and functional. It has been on my deck under an awning for less than three weeks and the lettering is already fading and blurry. I have almost no traffic on my deck. I really think the lettering should be holding up better than it has. The lettering made the mat unique.

I took this as a gift to a house warming party for a friend. I had as much fun giving it to her as she did receiving it! It's so original and fun. This is a very sturdy, well-made doormat. I always appreciate Uncommon Goods for helping me find the perfect gift!

Comments about UncommonGoods Better Stuff Doormat:

We bought this doormat over a year ago. I will admit (as others have cautioned) that it "sheds" (the fibers seem to detach somewhat easily). However, despite that -- there are plenty of remaining fibers such that the mat maintains a "full" appearance, and adequately stands up to being stomped on. Also, it never fails to get a smile! (From the neighbors, or even the FedEx guy….)
