Moved to reinvent herself in the wake of the Great Recession, "Mimi" Johnson-Carlson first began crafting her signature dessert mixes back in 2008. Mimi initially borrowed her church's kitchen to tinker with her family recipes, later selling the tasty treats she created herself at area farmer's markets. Buoyed by local success and a passion for cooking passed down from her grandmother, Mimi now makes a living whipping up mixes that turn into scrumptious desserts. The only thing she asks that you add? Why, a bit of beer, of course.
