Patricia Carlin believes that a small sketch has the power to tell a story without language. She started out as an art director in Philadelphia, selling everything from potato chips to financial products. In 2001, a friend wanted help launching a glassware business, so Patricia designed and wrote copy for several products for the new venture. Patricia has explored many techniques in her illustration, but simple line drawing appeals to her most. "For me, paring things down to their simplest essence is always the best way to understand them," she says.

It is heavier than I thought it would be
It does keep the popcorn kernels away from the popcorn. That is great. I like to use this bowl after popping corn to use for caramel corn.

Adorable!
I bought a set of these glasses and loved them. One of the glasses broke - so of course, I had to buy a replacement, plus three more! These glasses are perfect pint glasses and I love the mid-century inspired artwork! Sturdy, excellent quality and long-lasting (just be sure to hand wash so the designs don't get dull).

Quality bowl, but heavy
Well made bowl that is sturdy,. Big enough to hold fruits, so would be perfect for a centerpiece on a kitchen island, since you won't want to be moving around since it's quite heavy

Beautiful but heavy
Let it be known this thing is genuine ceramic. Its a BEAUTIFUL bowl. Bought for my best friend who is a popcorn lover. She loves it. It is very heavy however, just something to keep in mind.

Great cups with a perfect message for a ruff day
They're exactly how I hoped they be! The images are clear and have survived several rounds in the dishwasher. I received these as a gift but one of the glasses was cracked and uncommon goods was wonderful about getting me a new set.

High quality and functional!
I was surprised how heavy and well-made the ball was when we received it. The strainer for Colonels at the bottom is just brilliant. You never have to worry if you're gonna crack your tooth on a kernel again. Highly recommend this for yourself and definitely an excellent gift for anyone.

Hi The bad dog wisdom tumblers are clever and hilarious. I was wondering if the insights depicted on the WISDOM glasses are available as wall art, like the standard bad dog collection? I would prefer to purchase the wall art as a Christmas gift for my sister, as I know that she would love the sentiments, and already has a fully stocked cupboard. Is there any chance that a wall art version of the Bad Dog Wisdom set is also for sale? Thanks for your help.

I bought these glasses less that 3 years ago for my daughter and the designs are all but gone on all the glasses. Granted she did wash them in the dishwasher, but all those beer logo glasses people buy for much less money seem to hold up much longer. I am disappointed. It's the older design of course. i don't think they have a much color. FYI Nancy Allen

Although dishwasher safe to a certain extent, due to stronger dishwashers and cleaning agents used in today’s dishwasher detergents and their effect on tableware, we suggest hand washing your drinkware to maintain color vibrancy and add to the longevity of the design. I have read reviews of your other tumblers indicating the design washes off in the dishwasher. The description for these tumblers indicates relatively dishwasher safe - do these use a different printing process? Can I reasonably expect better results with these than was experienced by users of the other tumblers? (there is only 1 review for these so no reference to use).

Greetings! We do highly recommend hand washing, as dishwashers tend to damage the graphics on these glasses. However, the dishwasher will not damage or alter the actual glass.
