African Palette

Infused with the Maasai's symbolic code of colors, this necklace offers the organic appeal of traditional African beadwork. Handmade from tribal glass beads by artisans in Kenya, its colors represent natural elements in Maasai cosmology: the blue beads symbolize the sky and its energy; the white beads symbolize purity and health; and the black bead symbolize harmony, solidarity, and unity. Geometric, golden accents add a contemporary touch, making it easy to accessorize with T-shirts and tailored suits alike. Designed by Jen Moran; handmade in Kenya.
