We love this learning toy. My daughter is now learning her ABCs, so this has been a great addition to her playroom. However, we cannot seem to find the writing utensil. I am hoping the company is able to replace it?

I love that there are no pieces to lose or end up in a toddlers mouth! The magnetic "pencil" even clips in securely. My 3 yr. old grand daughter is easily bored and sits quietly with this endlessly. She likes to push the beads down with her finger and "write" the letters with the tool that is comes with. Excellent.
Our four year old son is not crazy about writing and getting him to practice writing his letters has been a big challenge. From the comments I read, I thought I would give this product a try. He is enjoying following the numbers to write his alphabet and the Magnatab is holding his interest longer than a pen and a piece of paper. He thinks it it fun to try to get all the magnets to the surface and does not even realize the "fun" is showing him how to write the letters the proper way.

I bought this product as a gift for my niece on her 3rd birthday after reading about it in Parents magazine. When it arrived, I thought I might have made a mistake. It was very plain. Denver put those worries to rest the instant she pulled it out of her gift bag. She was drawn to it like a bug to a light. This turned out to be her favorite gift. The magnatab has directional arrows showing which way to move the stylus in order to learn how to write the letters. My only suggestion would be that they set it up so the letters only write when done correctly. Right now a child can move the stylus backwards through the letter or jump around and the beads still come to the surface. Overall its a good tool.
My 3 year old loves this and is really learning to write the letters!
