After studying abroad and traveling for years around the world exploring foods and global cuisines, Lori Sandoval made a rash decision that would change the rest of her life. Lori decided to cease her graduate studies in architecture and instead enrolled in culinary school where she studied classical French cuisine and technique. She worked at some of the best restaurants in Los Angeles until the day she realized that Mexican regional culinary traditions ought to be shared with the world just like those of Europe have been. Lori is passionate about pushing awareness of her Mexican ancestors’ culinary traditions beyond the typical red or green sauces.
