Amy Ambroult is a Boston-based jeweler. She loves the tactile experience of jewelry making and she enjoys manipulating metal into beautiful forms.
"It's the complete physical experience of metalsmithing that keeps me coming back for more," she says." "I feel the touch of the cold metal, the resistance when I bend it, the give when I hammer it, and my hands are given the opportunity to explore their full potential."
In her small workshop, she uses traditional metalsmithing techniques to transform raw materials into forms that explore the link between the industrial and organic worlds. She makes pieces that are to be used and enjoyed every day to add a small work of art to the wearer's outfit, and a flash of cool, modern style.
