Jules and Brian's story: When Brian and Jules began dating, she hoped he would eventually join her full time in the jewelry business and asked him to take a metalsmithing course together. They quickly fell in love over shared love of food, art, fire and metal and were recently married in a rustic barn wedding.
Brian planned to fabricate his own wedding band, and while the couple already made initial rings for clients, he wanted something more intimate and meaningful. A book on the history of communications spawned his idea: a band bearing Jules name in Morse Code! Soon after the wedding, a Chicago newspaper ran a feature and photos from their wedding and demand was instantaneous. Brian and Jules knew that they had to make Morse Code rings available to both men and women, in varying widths and precious metals, bearing personal secret sentiments.
