Evelyn says: I live very close to Mount Vernon, Washington; which is one of the world's largest producers of tulips. In the month of April, the farm fields turn into blocks of vibrant colors, a respite from the long dark winter. These tulips were created as a reminder of spring and the beauty of those fields.
I create these earrings by cutting them by hand from sheets of sterling silver, brass, or copper, and carefully shape them into cheerful tulips. I then apply a patina. These earrings are available in fired copper, brass, sterling silver, patinated sterling, and blue copper. They hang on handcrafted sterling silver ear wires.
