Tara says: When I first moved to Fort Bragg in Northern California, I took a stroll through the local botanical gardens for creative inspiration. This is where I first discovered clusters of tiny green blooms on a euphorbia plant. Coming from New Jersey, I had never seen this plant before and instantly thought it would make a great earring. I snapped a few pictures of the blossom and discovered this plant growing all over the town. After making quite few samples in copper, I finally developed a series of sterling silver earrings based on these tiny blooms. I now have a simple garden outside of my home studio, where I grow many different types of euphorbia plants so I can continually be inspired and develop new designs. After ten years of living in this small coastal town, I still enjoy making these earrings by hand and creating new designs based on the simple elegance of a tiny bloom.
