PRODUCT STORY
John says: I'm an architect, woodworker, writer and illustrator. I practice my crafts in the wooded heartland of central Ohio.

I live adjacent to a wetland area, where the croaking of innumerable frogs lull me to sleep on balmy summer nights. And because of that happy symbiosis, I've dedicated a substantial portion of my woodworking hours to a celebration of my amphibious neighbors. There might be a more efficient ways to hide a stash of candy, or whatever floats your boat, but probably none that's more fun.

Within every rescued log, there is more than enough clear stock for my Frog Boxes. Since I never know what type of logs will be coming my way, every box is a signed-and-numbered, one-of-a-kind original incorporating at least four species of American hardwood.

This frog isn't just a great way to stash candy or other treasures, he's also one of a kind and has a great story! Take a look at John's comments on the left to learn more about his Frog Boxes, then tell us if this design gets your vote.

Thanks to everyone for your support !!! I would have designed it to lift the candy out, as Kim suggested, but the calories burned by manually lifting them out offsets the calories consumed ... maybe. :)
