PRODUCT STORY
James says: The development of this product began in a Vermont snowstorm in 1925. Standing outside with his microscope, W. A. Bentley became the first person to photograph a snowflake.

Eighty three years later, while examining on of Bentleys' photographs with a couple of first side mirrors, I discovered a half dozen marquetry patterns that I have used in my hand crafted gift items since that time. Shown are nightlight using two of those patterns, laser cut from natural wood veneers chosen for the beautiful way they transmit light.

We're impressed with James' intricate laser cut designs on his nightlights. Would you want to plug these inside your bedroom?

Do they take a special light bulb and what wattage? Do these come with a light bulb? Can the light be replaced from your site or from a local store if it ever needs to? Each design looks amazing. I hope these come on your site to purchase. Will you have to buy all three or can you choose your favorite designs out of the three? Don't answer this last question unless it becomes available to purchase, please.

Hi Caroline, Thanks for commenting on our nightlights, yes the bulbs are replaceable with regular 4 watt night light bulbs from Walmart, the three that are pictured won't be available for a while, but we have lots more almost identical. In fact you can purchase them now at our website FolkwoodDesign.com. Please do!
