PRODUCT STORY
Whitney says: I wanted to illustrate the meaning behind the statement "Dream big. Start small." with something simple. In this case I thought that peanuts with their shells on and off would work to show how the progression of "start small" and "dream big". I created the "dream big" letter forms with shelled peanuts, while the "start small" is crafted from peanuts without. By laying the letters down on a dark denim surface it created good contrast and a little extra style. (plus, peanuts seem to go really well with denim) I believe that "found object typography" as I like to call it, adds a certain human element that might otherwise be lost with regular printed text. The message "Dream big. Start small." just has more heart when you make it out of peanuts!

We think Whitney's "found object typography" is quite eye-catching. Are you nuts about this babysuit design?

Though it may be inspirational, there's not much to it.
