Amalfi Light Fixture

PRODUCT STORY
Stephanie says: Liz Graves and I were inspired by hillside architecture seen on the Amalfi coast in Italy. Similar to the colorful houses seen in this area, each geometric unit fits neatly into those around it creating a three dimensional honeycomb like structure that reflects color and light. The unique geometric shape creates patterns and shadows above the fixture while casting a soft light downward.
MATERIALS
Discontinued paint chips, bobby pins, metallic spray paint

If this is made with paint chips, I can't imagine its very durable.

Dee. Valid comment the bobby pins hold each piece in place making it very structurally sound. I think if you held it you would be surprised. Thanks for the feedback.

Love it - the use of color, shape, etc. It's interesting as well as lovely in a very crisp, modern sense. This is something I would buy for my own home.

I would be concerned about the durability because it is made with bobby pins and paint chips. I really like the design and concept though.

interesting design but I'd like to see a view from above or below to see the 'innards' of the the design and how it attaches to a light fixture. Also, it would really depend on the pricing as to whether I'd buy the item.

Courtney, durability is a valid concern. We were having so much fun transforming uncommon materials and focusing on how it manipulates the light effect. Thank you for the feedback!
