PRODUCT STORY
This pair of wedding toast champagne glasses is a beautiful symbol of the happy couple, joined together in the vows of marriage. The two individual glasses have the familiar, slender contours of a champagne flute, but their stems taper down to a rounded point. In order to stand upright, they must be placed in their shared, metal base. That base has a fluid, rippling form, and is polished to a brilliant, mirror finish. The pair of flutes makes a special addition to a wedding dinner or anniversary, and will be a treasured for a lifetime together. Made in France.

These Champagne flutes are a lovely way to celebrate the special connection between two people. How would you use this clever set of flutes?

this is a cute idea but not a good one if you are moving around since it has nothing to stand on. You would have to stand in one place for having to set it. Same would go for the other half of the set. Maybe a way to give a "heart lock" of some sort to be able to take the bottom apart as well would be better.

Nice idea but poor execution. I suppose it would be fine if you plan on standing in the same place all night. Too impractical but lovely sentiment. I would want glasses I could use later, where my husband and I wouldn't have to go back to "base station" for a sip, but could move around with them.

Very impractical. Always having to set your flute back on the base would be a pain.

Glasses simply do NOT stay in one place. This is a No Go

it's not practical; can't put the glass down if you step away from the base

Love them! Would use them as gifts (as discussed in the Product Story), but would also use them for formal dinners, with couples sharing the base on the table between them. A strong "yes" vote from me!

I think that it would be awkward to always have to put them back in the base whenever you wanted to set the glass down.

To answer Cassie, this item is perfect for weddings, intimate dinners, and anniversary gifts. However, the life of this product is short lived.

not the most convenient glasses, but the meaning behind them is powerful, and this is a powerful way to display your love for each other. I can see displaying these flutes alongside a wedding photo and the bride's bouquet on a shelf.

I don't like having to put a glass down in a specific spot...this seems like a one time use thing

Ugly, stupid and not practical! Looks like a "one time use only" as a gag gift.
