Megan says: I first came up with this design when thinking of a birthday gift for a friend who moved halfway around the world. My friends wanted to be able to give her something personal that she could always remember us by. We wrote out words that we though embodied her, and each person wrote their word in their own handwriting. I then made those in a series of engraved charms for a necklace. She loved it and the meaning behind it!
After making these pieces, I have been privileged to hear many stories and remarks on what this simple jewelry item has meant to families who have struggled with losing someone they loved.
