Carrie says: After taking a nearly two year break from jewelry design to spend more time with my two children I am thrilled to debut a new collection inspired largely by form, light and color. Using a multi-step process of applying ink to silver, brass and stainless steel I apply rich, transparent color allowing the shine of the metal to gleam through. The ombre pieces were inspired by swatches of dip-dyed linen acquired in a vintage fabric shop and the kaleidoscope collection is a representation of light streaming through stained glass.

This work is truly a marriage of my two great loves, jewelry making and printmaking. Though the process is time consuming, each ink takes on a new life when applied to metal producing exciting results every time. I am driven by a desire to create something truly original that will speak to the viewer through both it's uniqueness and it's wearability.

These are gorgeous! I rarely wear bracelets/cuffs and don't typically gravitate toward larger jewelry, but I would totally buy these!
