To create this piece, Laura took something "abandoned" and turned it into something beautiful--a technique we can definitely stand behind! What do you love about her mixed media collage?

I love this piece! Taking something discarded and creating a beautiful, balanced, and interesting piece of art exemplifies the notion of "one man's trash is another man's treasure". Pieces of art, where the interpretation is left up to the viewer are in my opinion the pieces that communicate the most!

I'm always looking for something unique and eye catching. This piece not only meets those requirements but provides a great story of it's creation that would be great conversation.

This reminds me of the layers and layers of different wallpaper, oilcloth, etc. I found behind the cupboards I removed while remodeling a little old house. It was like a trip back in time and this piece reminds me of that. Had I known of this artist back during that remodel, I could have offered her some interesting prints! Love what you are doing with those old scraps!

Looks like a place where someone ripped off a piece of wallpaper and then scribbled on the wall where it used to be.
