PRODUCT STORY
Jonathan says: Birthed from the desire to make high quality wooden products and innovative designs, we began hand-crafting our originally designed state wall cutouts to adorn walls around the world at an affordable price. These beauties are skillfully built with a minimalist aesthetic in mind. I love keeping things as simple and clean as possible and these beautiful states are a reflection of just that.

Each piece begins with a simple piece of masonite that I hand cut with a scroll saw. I then sand it by hand and paints between three to four layers of paint onto it. After this, they need yet another sanding in order to take away small bumps and imperfections. We proceed to paint another three to four layers onto each piece and finish it out with a hand-stained, birch backing and sturdy poplar frame.

These are a beautiful way to show your state pride without compromising your home's aesthetic!

The contrast of natural wood grain and stark white caught our eye and helped earn Jonathan's piece a place in our semifinals. Does this art make a state-ment you'd love to have in your home?

I haven't seen this exact thing but the market is flooded with this type of thing. This one doesn't stand out to me.

Jonathan's work and design is clean and sophisticated and will easily fit in many different environments. I am always amazed at the quality of the work he produces. The thing about his work that stands out, is not only is it well done, but it is all done with a lot of heart.

this looks like something made in shop class with the state cutout being a laser cutout you'd buy at a craft store and then a piece of wood is stuck behind it.

I would love to buy this and every state we have lived in, maybe include states our adult children have lived in. Could make a very interesting statement as states are placed among family pictures on the wall.

Painted masonite!? The only admirable wooden component in this piece is the hand-stained backing. The frame looks really cheap/unfinished.

Although I absolutely love the background wood, I think the white and the light colored wood look a little cheap. It would be better if the pale frame was the same color as the background or something, but otherwise there are sleeker, nicer, and less expensive things I can waste my money on.

Funny the folks saying it looks cheaply made - they are all made by hand, frame included, and the states are cut with a scroll saw, not a laser. Haters gonna hate. :) Go Perrodins!!

I'm all for repping your home-state, however I'm not convinced I need someone else to make it for me.
