PRODUCT STORY
Jeff says: From the outdoor, grey sky to the inner, warm kitchen table, the Nimbus Cloud Cutting Board adds a unique way to prepare meals or serve hors d'oeuvres. The cloud is made of end grain solid maple, meaning it will last for many years, as long as the operating chef gives it a little love every so often. Each board comes with four raindrop coasters.

I'm a graphic designer by day and a woodworker at night. I needed a cutting board and after making a few rectangular shaped boards for family and friends, I wanted to make one that had a little more distinction. I settled on the cloud design and after completing the shape, used the remains to create the raindrop coasters/hors d'oeuvres trays. I began to make more boards and sold them at a local art gallery.

Jeff's cutting board may be shaped like a cloud, but there's nothing dreary about the design. We love the unique look and the four included coasters that double as hors d'oeuvres trays. Does this design have your vote?

Unique cutting board, I especially like the detail in the cloud where another rain drop is cut out.

This is so NOT boring! When's the last time you saw a cloud shaped cutting board with rain drop serving boards? Probably never. This is such a cool piece and so unique. Totally love it.

I own this cutting board and it does not just take up space. Yes, it is a fun conversation piece, but it's also practical. The raindrop serving trays are great for cooking and make for a fun way to serve snacks when having friends over. I like that the nimbus shape of the board has variety to it and isn't just 4 scalloped edges. The raindrop cut-out in the board is a nice touch, plus functional. Overall, a very well-made kitchen tool I want to keep out for guests to see, and ultimately use more because I don't store it. THUMBS UP!

This product is cute, but the raindrops do seem impractical.

We entertain often and this would be a grand conversation starter. Always looking for the unusual. Would own this.

this applies to all the ideas: add a price to it and it will be much better to vote for

I love the wood grain in this one, that is unusual, and the fact of the coasters coming with. A cutting board does seem a little common for Uncommon Goods, but I like it!

While I like the design, I gave it a thumbs down only because there is no indication additional raindrops could be ordered separately. Rarely would I have a party that I would only be serving four people including myself.

This might work well for serving something small, but certainly it's not practical for chopping up a bunch of stuff. Thumbs down because it's impractical. Also, wooden cutting boards are hard to keep in good working order.

something that will take up space. where are you going to put the little rain drops? You'll misplace them.

All I can think is "When I find the rain drops, I'll think 'What are these?', then I'll donate them to Goodwill"

I would buy this item but needs additional raindrop coasters.

Very nice design, both artistic and functional, and by a local artist too! I would like the option of purchasing more raindrops. I hope these will be available soon.
