PRODUCT STORY
Cole says: I designed this piece with rotating gears to be a re-imagined lazy susan coffee table. It has been published in 1000 Steampunk Creations and various online blogs. It has since gained me a small amount of notoriety and gave me the push to finish a BFA in Crafts. Where ever I go with one of these tables crowds form and curiosity about it follows.

Cole's table is beautiful, unique, and has the function of a lazy Susan. Are you geared up to give it your vote?

I'm sorry you feel that way Katy. Thank you for your feedback. I did want to let you know that my Crafts degree is in reference to the Arts & Crafts Movement of the early 1900s.

This is cool as an art piece, but not practical enough to be a table. Other than some knickknacks, what would one put on this thing? Couldn't put a lamp or phone or any device needing a cord (unless you never turned the gears, which would defeat this table's craftsmanship entirely). I'm not sure what one would do with this...

I have seen this piece in person and it is extremely functional. It is one of the most unique functional piece of art I have seen in years. You can close it up when not in use and it serves as a statement piece of art.Or, you can open it up and it is very functional. By the way, if you chose to put lamps and phones on this you can but why ruin the decor? Congratulations Cole!

Strongly dislike the look and don't see it being as functional as people are suggesting. It looks like a danger for children.
