PRODUCT STORY
What appears to be a loaf of crisp, multigrain bread is actually a collection of clever cork coasters and trivets, designed to protect surfaces while adding a touch of humor to the well-dressed table. Designed by Patricia Naves of the Brazilian design studio Oiti, these stylish slices slide beneath piping plates and frosty drinks to retain heat, absorb moisture, and keep the conversation interesting. Wipe with a damp cloth. Set of eight wrapped in a cellophane "bread bag." Made in China.

Whether you're toasting to good friends with a frosty brew or looking for a place to rest your tea, these coasters will do the trick between sips. Do they have your vote?

Not quite the best thing since sliced bread, but it would be a neat addition to any home baker's collection.

Shaping cork coasters into bread doesn't make them any less ugly. Maybe "toast" made of wood or porcelain would be more attractive. Too hipster.

It would be hilarious to see how many people try to brush crumbs off the table or pick up to take a bite.
