BEEKEAT Birdfeeder

PRODUCT STORY
Terry says: I derived the concept from videos and images of mother birds feeding their chicks, by depositing food from beak to beak. With BEEKEAT, the birds enter the mouth & feed on seeds. The feeder can be hung from a tree branch by a braided nylon rope. A drainage hole is incorporated into the bottom of the feeder to remove moisture.

Terry's design is inspired by the way mama birds feed their babies, incorporating an element of nature into this modern design. Do you think your birds would love to feast from the BEEKEAT?

A lot depends on the price. I wonder if a squirrel could make it dump all the seed on the ground?

To stacie, thanks for that input. I live in the city, so we don't have squirrels in my neighborhood. The small birds love the eating out of ones we have hanging in our cherry tree in our backyard.

I think I would prefer to have the entire mama bird with mouth open like this.

Like the concept. Simple clean lines. I wonder how squirrels will react to it?

I like the idea, but I think it would look better if it actually looked more bird-like. This just looks awkward to me.

Playful and probably would look great in the right garden. Kind of hard to imagine birds in it.
