PRODUCT STORY
Beverly says: Being an artist who likes to garden and hike can be distracting. While working in my garden or hiking the hills of southern California I get distracted by the nature's perfection of design. A fascinating seedpod, leaf or flower must be admired, studied and if possible collected. A long time ago I realized I could never make anything as wonderful as nature has, so why not copy her. I have created hundreds of small ceramic molds of leaves, acorns and other botanicals that I have found. I press these into my clay as I am building a pot and create texture with them. They have allowed me to catalog my love of the natural world, and to combine it with my sense of design.

Look closely at Beverly's design and you'll see that the organic shapes are more than just inspired by nature, they're from nature! Beverly actually presses molds made from real leaves, twigs and other found pieces into her work. Does her planter have your vote?

Yes, the planter has a drainage hole and it drains really nicely since the planter bottom is raised off of the ground. The overall size is 12" x 7" x 7.5".

This is definitely different. I like it and would like to know what size it is. That would certainly make a difference as to whether or not I would purchase it.
