PRODUCT STORY
For children who are finally old enough to eat from a plate, these delicious dishes offer a safer alternative to common plastics. Each plate is made from durable tempered glass—similar to that used in glass cookware. The underside of the plate is printed with playful nature scenes, using lead-free ink. Wrapped around the bottom and edges of the dish is a stretchy, silicone sheath. Kids will love its bright, interchangeable splash of color, but it also cushions impacts and provides a slip-resistant surface. Both the dish and its skin are safe to use in the microwave and dishwasher, and are free from BPA and pthalates. Made in China.

Parents love that these plates are slip-resistant, microwave and dishwasher safe, and BPA-free. Youngsters love that they are "big kid" plates with fun designs and bright colors. What do you think?

I'm uncomfortable with items made in China due to the questionable ways in which they are manufactured. However if this product was made in the USA I would be interested.

My sister and I have these for our kids. Hard to keep the silicone clean and takes forever to dry. After about 3 washes the silicone sleeve is too stretched to fit right; plates are okay but nick really easy. I have other glass plates that work much better. As a side note... I never would have bought them if I had realized they were manufactured in China ..just realized that as I was typing and read the write up

DISLIKE that so many items you're posting are "Made In China"! What I have always liked about Uncommon Goods was the showcasing of Local Artists, etc. I will not continue to be such an avid customer if it's changing to an average "Made In China" item company.

News flash: a lot of things you used are made in China. These are "free from BPA and pthalates" and that says more to me than being made in the USA. They are cute graduate plates.
