PRODUCT STORY
An iconic snapshot captured the spirit of the '60s peace movement: a young protester placing flowers into the barrels of the guns being leveled at him.

These unique bud vases evoke that peace-loving spirit. The mold for the base was made using an actual WWII-era grenade, and the stoneware is then finished with sweet, pastel acrylics. A slender glass tube rests in the top, allowing you to display small bursts of floral fireworks. The vase is the creation of artist Toby Atticus Fraley, whose work often uses artifacts of popular culture in playful new contexts. Made in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
MATERIALS
Cast ceramic finished in acrylic, removable glass vial, silicon o-ring

This design by Toby Atticus Fraley captures the spirit of the '60s in a home decor piece for today. Would you give this Grenade Micro Bud Vase a chance?

There is enough war and ugliness. Let's not dress it up in pretty colors and put an unrealistic spin on it.

I chuckled when I saw it because my Dad would like something like this, but no thanks for for me! I wouldn't want a grenade sitting on my window or in my living room w/a flower or two in it!

I think these are cute and make a statement. For people saying these are insensitive to people with PTSD: stop going to extremes. If you think about this, it is like many other anti war statements we have seen. Relax.
