We love that this leash is made from reclaimed tires--a durable alternative to leather! Check out the product story to learn more about how these heavy duty dog accessories are made, then tell us whether you (and your pooch) would be pleased with this piece.

Absolutely...and I don't even have a dog! I'd get it for my friends that do. Wonderful use of recycled material. You know it's strong and it's made of tires, duh! Only question is: does it stink like tires? Hopefully not since the tire smell goes away with use.

I would definitely get this for my dog. It's unique and seems sturdier than traditional leashes....plus recycled! Awesome.

Thanks for the feedback, Kathryn! The leash might have a slight rubber smell when it's new, but that smell shouldn't last long.

Great idea. Will be curious to see how it holds up if it is mistaken for a chew toy.

Seeing as how my dog fancies himself an escape artist, and can get through a standard leash with two bites...this looks pretty awesome.

LOVE this because it is practical, it is GREEN, and the factory employs those w/disabilities according to the Product Story. Reduce. Reuse. Recycle.

Like that it is made by people with disabilities. However, I don't own a dog and wouldn't presume to give something that probably has to be comfortable in your hand to someone that does.

Love the idea, but leashes often get wrapped around pup's legs, neck, etc. This could hurt them.

Dogs have exxxxxtremely sensitive smell, n I'm afraid the rubber odor may be too much for the pet and owner. *Think tire store smell. Oof! Also afraid material may be too heavy in weight.
