PRODUCT STORY
Kat says: I take hikes in the local Los Angeles mountains, and I found a new area near my home called Franklin Canyon. On the main path there's a long row of eucalyptus trees, and after a few hikes I started noticing all the beautiful colors on the eucalyptus trunks. Soon after it became an obsession to paint eucalyptus trees in all their beautiful layers of barks, color, and rustic beauty. I'm dubbed "the painter of trees" by some of my friends.

We chose "Eucalyptus" because we thought it would work well with the color palette of almost any room. It has the right balance of nature and geometry and is composed in a way that leaves room for the viewer to imagine the rest of the scene.

Kat's piece calls attention to the natural geometry and subtle colors of the Eucalyptus. We love that it brings a scene from a nature hike into your home. What's your favorite thing about this painting?

peaceful. Respectful treatment of trees. The colors give decorating freedom.
