Created with mixed media consisting of dictionary pages - note the unexpected placement of the word "dazzle" in the middle of the wheel. When I cut the bike out I was surprised to see "dazzle" perfectly centered in the wheel. Other media... sewing patterns and Japanese paper.
We laughed out loud when we saw Julene's delightful work. We hope her mixed media piece brings a smile to your face too.

You will not find a more creative and fun print than this one. (Well, actually Julene is an amazing artist with a wonderful talent, so there is a lot from where this came from!)This print is very popular everytime I post it on my facebook page! Very unique, has a very original feel to it, both vintage and yet modern, uplifting and also thought provoking. I can see a painting like this hanging in my kitchen!

Mixed feelings on this mixed media. I get why everyone likes it, but the whole "painting over dictionary pages" thing is so overdone (See Etsy for many, many examples). I hate being negative, but I wanted to comment on why I was downvoting an otherwise nice piece of art.
