Winter contains an amorous couple in a tree tied with the words, "We had nothing, we had not much, we had enough, we had everything."
Spring features a tree flecked with astral objects like planets and stars and the phrase "Moons circle planets and planets circle stars, stars and entire galaxies rotate eternally, and you and I circle each other for you are my universe and I will be yours."
Summer contains a bird dotted tree and the phrase, "Other planets cannot be as beautiful as this one."
Autumn, appropriately, features an apple picking gent and the phrase, "Give me work to last me all my life."
Equally beautiful as a set or a separate setting, Rob's imaginative imagery and unabashedly sentimental words bring much more than dinner to the table.

Would be a really pretty set to display. I don't like all the blue at the bottom of the autumn one,but overall great color, designs, and phrases.

This is a cute take on the photographs of a tree, etc as it changes throughout the seasons. I like the addition of the sayings. The blue color gives it an heirloom feel

The blue and white pattern makes the plates seem really old fashioned. This is a shame given that they are speaking to a very modern concept -- but it gets missed in the blah-ness.

Made in China? What more can I say? I like the design but think it could be produced in a country other than China. That is the reason I would not buy them. I can get pretty designs from China anywhere!
