PRODUCT STORY
Resistance is futile. The designs for these decidedly low-tech robots originated with a series of cutting-edge artists and designers, against whose bright colors and pop-art geometries mere mortals are completely helpless. Both the young and the young at heart will find themselves compulsively assembling these mechanical creatures from the sheets of sturdy, pre-cut cardboard. You may even find yourself using the three blank robots to contribute your own otherworldly designs. The individual pieces are interchangeable, so who knows what will be created! You'll soon see the robot forces gathering across your desktops and bookshelves, or extending their invasion via the included envelopes, which happen to be perfect size mailing robot construction materials anywhere in the world. The robots are coming, and they will conquer your heart. Made in China.

These robots won't make your life easier, but they will add a little fun. Would you love to build your own bot or send one to a friend?

Many of the $1 stores have unpainted versions of "create a..." i.e.: many types of dinosaurs.

I love creative kits, and this is very cute; but $25 is pretty steep for a paper toy.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone! Keep in mind that this is actually a set, so you do get more that one robot for the estimated price. They also come with envelopes, so you can share your robots with your friends. (Think of it as extra fun stationery.) Does that change your vote?

$25 for CARDBOARD!!!!! Are you nuts? I mean really. I have seen this before in the animal 'wall trophies' you have. the $58 price tag takes all the fun out of giving them.
