PRODUCT STORY
Naturalist John Burroughs wrote in his Indoor Studies, "We readily attribute some extra virtue to those persons who voluntarily embrace solitude, who live alone in the country or in the woods, or in the mountains, and find life sweet..."

The woodsy scent of this beard oil evokes Borroughs' sentiment, but just because a guy boasts a beard that would make any mountain man proud that doesn't mean his facial fur doesn't deserve a little TLC. This all-natural beard oil is ideal for the man who's ready to look, and smell, like one. With Borroughs' logs on man's solitary connection with nature in mind, Prospector Co crafted this virile concoction with notes that bring to mind freshly chopped oak trees, a dusty carpenter's workshop, and the deep leathered richness of a cobbler's apron.

Utilizing an antiquated packaging aesthetic that you're more likely to find in a 19th-century apothecary, Prospector Co makes unique beard and skincare products for the design savvy man who's ready to whip his whiskers into shape. In addition to smelling delightfully tough and manly, this rich oil also helps moisturize the face and condition follicles. Can be used as a beard oil or as an oil based cologne. Hand-mixed in Savannah, Georgia.

Available in a 1 oz. mini-flask bottle with orifice reducer and a 0.5 oz. bottle with glass dropper lid.
Ingredients: Argan Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Cedarwood, Sandlewood and other pure essential oils.

There's nothing wrong with the mountain man look. In fact, the popularity of beards seems to be booming! But even the most rugged beard deserves a little TLC. Would you treat your face fuzz with Burroughs' Beard Oil?

I'd really have to smell this to give my full endorsement, the "mountain man" smell may not be appropriate for all occasions. Maybe they could come in a variety of smells.

Is there really a market for this? How many men would really purchase smell-goods for their beards? Aren't the men that typically have beards not usually the type to use smell-goods?

I really think you're barking up the wrong tree on this one, folks. Good luck in getting any men with beards to buy, let alone use it,, and if you are thinking of it being purchased as a gift. really...with a discription like that, how many girlfriends or wiea wouldwant their man to wear it instead of old spice?

There's actually a huge audience for this type of product (see The Art of Shaving). With this awesome packaging and story, I can totally see hip, Brooklyn dudes eating this up! Old Spice is for they type of guy who's ok with smelling like his father...

Skin often is dry under the beard and this might help. There are plenty of well dressed professional men with beards and this could make a nice small gift.

Were I a bearded fellow, or if one were in my life, I'd not hesitate to purchase this beard oil. There is something to be said about a Man and his scent.....

Sounds great in theory, but I doubt my beardie boyfriend would remember to use a product like this, plus if the scent is too strong it would drive him crazy being so close to his nose.

Need to have a 'maybe' thumb. My hubby would LOVE to have a product like this..me..well, not sure I'd want oil all over my shoulder when I get one of his numerous hugs! We're both outdoorsy people, so the smell may not bother me too much. Many fragrances cause headaches for me though, so it would have to be a product I'd see and smell before buying. Nice idea though!
