These shiny shakers help you avoid unidentified flying seasonings at your dinner table! Do you think this set is out of this world?

Is it necessary that there's 24K gold? I would buy these if they were significantly cheaper.

Although the price seems a bit on the high side, I believe this reflects the handmade nature/quality of these products. I would not personally be interested in having these on my table, but I know several couples who would not only find these hilarious but who would actually use these with joy. They would certainly cause many interesting conversations and grins. :)

Thank you for pointing that out, Pierce. We did some additional research and found that this design is in fact by Bruce MacDonald. These salt and pepper shakers are actually made by Tom O'Brien in collaboration with BRM designs. We'll update the copy to reflect this information. Thanks again for your feedback!

We're glad to see so many comments for these spicy spaceships! The price of gold is factored into the estimated item price, but the time and effort required to handcraft each piece is also considered. Tom O'Brien stamps, contours, and brushes each shaker by hand. Each part is shaped individually, then the parts are assembled, tightened, and rechecked by Tom himself. Does this extra info shake up your vote?
