PRODUCT STORY
Uniting inspired design and historic glass, artist Laura Bergman handcrafts each sterling silver plated caged orb and fills it with morsels of antique bottles and Mason jars dating between 1900 and 1970.

To create each piece, Bergman first scours the rural woodlands of Pennsylvania Amish Country collecting stray shards that pose an environmental hazard to local wildlife. Then, she carefully cleans and cuts these collected nuggets, transforming the recycled glass pieces into ravishing gems that preserve the original ruby, green, navy and amber tints.

Each piece includes an item-specific story detailing the age and origin of the specific glass used. Handmade of recycled glass and sterling silver plated steel orb. Found materials and handmade construction make every piece one of a kind. Made in Fallowfield, Pennsylvania.

Cute. I like the green one best. It would look cool with a bead and a silver ball too.

Love the story behind the item. Would definitely think of a possibility for a gift. Right price range also. Too bad, there is no clip version. If so, I might get for myself

I LOVE these, the price is way too high. People with children cant afford to spend money on their self most of the time. If they were under ten, I wouldnt feel so guilty.

Pretty and I love the story. Interested in the "made in USA" sentiment. To me artists who handmake things unique to their heritage deserve global markets, just like we would hope Laura Bergman can sell her crafts outside the U.S. In any case, I like these and would buy them.

These are lovely. They're silver-plated, so maybe a bit over priced, but they're a great idea.
