PRODUCT STORY
Ceramics Design Challenge Entry

Nereida Trujilo's hand-built carved porcelain sculptures have evolved over time to include the smooth curves, soft lines, and textural folds and bulges of the Blob.
Blobs sold individually.

We think Nereida's small and affordable, yet provocative contemporary design will meld nicely with both modern and classic home decor.

School project?--no way! These blobs have been carefully crafted and stand alone as compelling forms or together to create a vibrant narrative.

I agree that they look like fat roll.s They remind me of plopping, squishing noises. Not my taste at all, and certainly not for $160 a pop.

Interesting maybe for a gallery show with many exhibited, but I find it hard to believe that someone would want these in their house unless it was incredibly modern. Also, quite expensive.

No. I don't think so. These would appeal to some but not most. They are too abstract and, at the same time, evoke slime. Naked slime. Blech.

Why would I want to buy globs of clay stuck together? I am 12 and I could do that! If I could make 160$ on globs of clay than by all means people expect some globs coming from be!
