Teardrop stacking rings

Not available for purchase.

PRODUCT STORY
This ring was originally created with the intention of designing a comfortable single ring that one would play with on their finger all day.

Once the wax was carved and cast I realized it made for a really unique and stunning stacking ring. When worn in opposite directions the curves of the teardrop shapes nestle into one another and fit perfectly like a puzzle.

I see the rings worn as everyday rings or as special weddings bands.

This piece is very unusual and looks like the artists had every intention of making it this way! Gorgeous. Keep up the beautiful work Irene!

The only downside to this wonderful design is the price. But, I'm sure it's worth every penny!

somewhat like the idea, should be a little refined, tho, and the price does not lend to buying more than one to be able to stack!

looks uncomfortable and much too pricey

I like the organic look of the piece, but have to agree with another poster that the price does not lend to buying multiples for stacking.

I really like the idea of the ring, but the final design needs a little tweaking for the price.

Suggestion: make the drops thinner and i would be concerned that this would pinch as the design stands now.

I wear/own LOTS of rings and this appeals to me, but wouldn't buy it. I'd spend $85 on it.

Just to clarify, the image shown is two rings stacked together. The estimated price is for a set of two rings.

I absolutely love this pair of stacking rings. Looks like a lot of work went into getting those fun shapes. It's called Uncommon Goods catalog, not the -You're all gonna like every single piece, 'cause everybody likes the same exact thing- catalog. Ease up on the negative y'all!

DESIGNER COMMENT: Thank everyone for your comments. As a jeweler I only design and make pieces that I would wear myself. I aim to create pieces that are easy on the eyes as well as the body. My clients have been thrilled with the comfort of these rings. No complaints about pinching or discomfort. These rings are original designs and meticulously hand finished.

DESIGNER COMMENT: @Mark: Unfortunately the price of precious metals, gold as well silver has been steadily rising for the past few years. If these rings were in solid gold the price would be significantly higher.

I got a pin when my mom passed, and I think that something like this, even though it's a little out of my price range, would be something to help me to keep her memory alive.

Beautiful! I love the organic flow of the design. A sort of "worry stone" to wear around your finger. I also like that they are made of recycled materials. I would like to see these in some different metals or finishes to add some variety for stacking. Keep up the great work!

Concept is good but price is way out of proportion to that of other silver rings. My first instinct is "I want one". But at this price I can't consider it for me or as a gift.
